What is 1 Mb?
1 Mb is enough to send 100 text emails or 100 pings or 100 Google searches or send 15 Skype messages or surfing the Web during 5 minutes or 1 minute Skyping without video.

Average internet use on laptop is 10Mb/hr without downloading streaming content (sounds or video). Downloading files can use enormous amounts of data. This should be done in free WiFi Zones. My Private Hotspot is meant for surfing the web, e-mailing, private banking and reading the newspaper. Not for playing music, movies or using services like YouTube or Skype with video.

Battery
The battery can send out a continuous WiFi signal during 5 hours. It should be charged as often as possible. This can be done by connecting the USB cable to your PC or, with an adapter, to the grid. An auxiliary battery that extends battery life for aprox 6 hours is available for €39.
